QuikTreads.com provides the following Terms & Policies to govern your purchases, use of our website, and related services. These apply to all orders for our custom stair treads, landing panels, handrail components, S4S boards, and other value-added wood products.
We focus on expedited production of high-quality, custom thick stair treads and landing panels, and other wood stair parts and specialty wood products using premium kiln-dried hardwoods. Please read these policies carefully before placing an order. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these terms.

One of our key advantages is fast, reliable shipping for custom-manufactured stair components. We aim to provide high-quality, timely delivery that is hassle-free and minimizes damage.
We ship to all 50 United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as Canada. Customers in Hawaii, Alaska, offshore U.S. territories, and Canada, should contact us for shipping quotes, since online ordering is not available for customers in those areas.
Most orders involve custom production with a target lead time of one week or less once payment is received. After production and order processing, we typically ship within 1-2 business days. Transit times vary by location: in-state or nearby states often 1-2 days; further distances 3-6 days (longer for remote areas or the West Coast). A sales representative can provide estimated timelines. Do not schedule installations or paid labor until all materials have been delivered and inspected. We are not responsible for additional charges (e.g., contractor delays, rescheduling fees, delayed real estate closings) due to shipping or production delays.
Our goal is damage-free delivery. In rare cases where damage occurs during transit:
Due to the custom nature of our products, and the workability of wood products in general, superficial damages such as surface scratches, although rare, should be remedied on-site. Do not refuse delivery due to damage—this may result in additional fees. Contact us right away if issues arise. Our products are custom made, therefore refusal of delivery is not a remedy in the event of shipping damage or poor delivery service.
Residential deliveries are typically curbside unless otherwise arranged. Liftgate service is included when feasible (e.g., for palletized orders), but not guaranteed for very heavy, long, or small shipments (which may require hand offloading). Have assistance ready if needed. Carriers aim to deliver within a few business days of arrival at the local terminal. If you request delayed delivery or holding, you assume any storage fees. For inside delivery or special arrangements, contact us for a quote.
We understand that plans change, and unexpected events come up beyond your control. Orders for standard products may be cancelled and a full refund issued, if cancelled prior to shipping. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the Return Policy as described above on this page. Custom made products cannot be canceled after production has begun.
Any claims related to our products, sales, or services must be brought in the state or federal courts in Pinellas County or Pasco County, Florida (near our operational area). You consent to this jurisdiction and venue. In any related action we prevail in, you agree to cover our reasonable attorney fees and costs.
Issues with received (uninstalled) materials must be reported within 10 days of delivery. Installed products are deemed accepted, and we are not responsible for removal/reinstallation labor or costs for issues detectable pre-installation.
We warrant our materials against manufacturing defects only (specific warranty details provided per order or upon request). Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion. We disclaim all implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose). We are not liable for consequential damages, lost profits, delays, or other indirect losses.
Product images on our site are representative and as accurate as possible. Variations may occur due to screen differences, wood grain/natural characteristics, or lighting. Actual products may differ slightly in color, texture, or appearance—we are not responsible for such variances.
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), Shop Pay, checks (personal/company/certified), money orders, and bank wires. Full payment terms are outlined during checkout or quote.
Promotions, lead times, or guarantees (e.g., expedited production) are subject to availability, material stock, and exclusions (weather, force majeure, etc.). We reserve the right to update these policies; continued use constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact us directly.
